Thank a veteran!

My son discovered that the neighbour across the street was a veteran, so he wanted to bake him a cake to say thanks!  The look on this soldier’s face was priceless….it dropped, and a tear trickled down his cheek.  The moment was priceless.  I was immediately proud of this man whom I had never met, and my son.  I would have done anything to be inside my neighbour’s mind for even a brief moment.  Hopefully some day I’ll get that chance!
