The festive spirit is in full swing for Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they joyfully recreate the iconic cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas.” The dynamic duo, who co-own the Wrexham soccer team in the UK, embraced the holiday season by meticulously replicating the styling of Wham!’s George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley from the original 1986 cover art. Reynolds, aged 47, and McElhenney, aged 46, playfully shared the amusing results on their respective Instagram accounts, with McElhenney adding a dash of humor by incorporating the Wrexham soccer club logo and replacing the pop stars’ names with their own.

Accompanied by a caption simply declaring “WREXHAM!” alongside a Christmas tree emoji, the black-and-white image exudes charm. The duo didnned leather jackets to pay homage to Wham!’s 1983 studio album “Fantastic,” posing against a vibrant red backdrop. McElhenney, sporting a mustache reminiscent of Ridgeley’s in the original version, and Reynolds, with his jacket casually unbuttoned, replaced “Wham!” at the top of the cover with a playful nod to their docuseries, “Welcome to Wrexham.”

In a delightful touch, McElhenney shared the recreated images on his Instagram Stories, set to the festive tunes of Wham!’s “Last Christmas.” The entire holiday-themed escapade showcased the duo’s festive spirit and humorous camaraderie.
